One reason...we don't like down time. We are always plugged in, tune up, working, running around. And that leads to numerous bad health practices. One thing I try to do is stagger my after work obligations and weekends...one day "on" and one day with NO plans. I still struggle just to relax.Special Khttp://thespecialktreatment.wordpress.com/noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6339763320840481095.post-7718860632224471292010-07-26T01:52:12.187+09:002010-07-26T01:52:12.187+09:00I always pack healthy snacks when traveling, grano...I always pack healthy snacks when traveling, granola bars, fresh fruit and veggies to avoid as stations stops with chips, lol.Niccihttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11649534983661491293noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6339763320840481095.post-56639022974024398312010-07-25T23:07:48.135+09:002010-07-25T23:07:48.135+09:00I think having plenty of healthy options around is...I think having plenty of healthy options around is key. I try to always carry some healthy snacks with me. I also plan easy, healthy lunch options that I can easily take every week (salad ingredients that are prepped and can be easily put in a container for example).Andrea@WellnessNoteshttp://www.andreaswellnessnotes.comnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6339763320840481095.post-1674175552235626852010-07-25T22:30:23.225+09:002010-07-25T22:30:23.225+09:00Planning ahead is SO IMPORTANT. I also prepare snacks the day before, and make large batches of fruits and veggies (Steamed or just fresh and cut up) so I am forced to eat them before they go bad. Like you, I used to break up my day by running errands or working out in the afternoon, because it's hard to be in the house working all day, especially alone. I worked as far away from the kitchen as possible!Gina; The Candid RDhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13034788087113648183noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6339763320840481095.post-59025094810922502010-07-25T20:30:54.379+09:002010-07-25T20:30:54.379+09:00for parties, i usually make salad or dessert...opp...for parties, i usually make salad or dessert...opposite ends of the spectrum, but those are my specialites. :-)Emilyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02758932883732204080noreply@blogger.com
